Captivated By God’s Beauty

Psalm 90: 17 (KJV)
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

The beauty of the Lord is also called the favour or the blessing of the Lord. It is what separates a man and places him above and ahead. The beauty of the Lord is the the divine elixir in a man’s life. It is what makes the difference.

The beauty of the Lord upon a man takes him from a miry clay and set him upon the rock. The beauty of the Lord repositions a man from the backside of the desert and places him to sit among the princes.

The scripture above is a prayer by the Psalmist for God’s approval and blessing upon one’s efforts. True success comes from God’s hand. Until God opens his hands, man’s work and efforts will end in futility.

God’s beauty upon a man is God’s confirmation; It is what makes someone’s work to be truly worthwhile and fruitful. Many are working with nothing to show for it. Many are labouring at a loss, and many have be depressed and despaired of life because the beauty of the Lord is absent.

But thank God for Jesus, the presence of Jesus in a man’s life is all that a man needs to have God’s beauty. Jesus is God’s beauty. The coming of Jesus into a man is launching forth of God’s beauty. The man in Christ has received God’s beauty. He is a child of grace, favour and beauty.

When you look at yourself, what do you see? The Glory of God. The beauty of the Lord. The man in Christ is the glory and beauty of God. Christ in you is the fullness of beauty and power.

The enemy’s deception is to make you to look without, not within. Look inside of you today. Look within. Down within you is the beauty and the glory of God. This is your reality. The beauty of God is upon you today and it establishes your work and speaks favour into all that you do or represent . Glory to God!
