3 John 2 [KJV]
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Prosperity is God’s will for you and it is up to you now; your total prosperity comes according to the prosperity of your soul, that is, the understanding of the word of God your soul has taken the possession of.
It is what the soul has gathered that you can bring into prayers and continuous application, it is the place where faith is released, where ideas are birthed and supplies flow in. You must prosper in your soul first before it affects your health or finances.
Wealth in the hands of a spiritually mature believer is a tool to advance the kingdom. It is more than meeting the present physical needs, but to spread the word of God to the ends of the earth. Prosperity is having money, not money having you.
1 Thessalonians 5 : 23 [KJV]
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your “whole spirit and soul and body” be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prosperity is the total well being of the spirit, soul and body. You have been empowered to prosper in your finances, health, career, marriage, ministry and all that concerns you. It must affect your total being.
Failing to prosper will not stop you from going to heaven, but may stop many others. You may think you don’t need much finances, but you will actually need it to preach and win souls, to plant churches, to sponsor ministers of the gospel, to cover much areas for Jesus, to express the vision God has laid in your heart and also live in good health. The salvation of souls is tied to your prosperity.
John 15: 8 (KJV)
Herein is My Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be My disciples.
We are the fruits bearing part of Christ, He is the vine and we are the branches. We mirror Christ in all fullness, possibilities and abundance. Lack does not glorify God, poverty does not glorify God, sickness does not glorify God.
God is glorified when you are productive in all areas. Don’t settle for anything less than what God designed for you. Stretch forth! Break forth! Launch out! Think plenty! Think surplus!
Psalm 1: 3 (KJV)
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
This verse talks about the righteous man; we have been declared righteous on the basis of our faith in the finished works of Christ, therefore we are positioned to prosper.
As you honour the Lord with your substance; as you become faithful in your tithes, offering and your financial partnership in the gospel; never lose the consciousness that you have been empowered to prosper, and before any need arises in your life, the supernatural provision and unending streams of supply will meet and surpass those needs. What A Blessing!
DECLARATION
My God is mighty, I take mighty steps and I achieve mighty results. I am empowered to prosper in all areas. I understand the will of God for me and I take the full advantage of it. I am the the fruit bearing part of Christ. I am blessed, I am prosperous and I am alive. Glory! What a blessing!
