God’s Word Is My Glory

2 Corinthians 3: 18 (The Amplified Bible)
And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.

God meets the man in Christ in His Word. The Word of God is the mirror for the man in Christ. The more of the Word I behold, the more of my true self is revealed. The man in Christ can only be revealed through the mirror of the Word.

The written Word is my testimony; in it is my assurance and unlimited power. The Word on my lips heals the sick, breaks the yoke of bondage, and destroys the wicked holds in people’s life.

Mark 4: 24 (Amplified Classic)
And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.

The degree of my knowledge of the Word determines the level of God’s working in me. God has nothing to give to me rather than what He has given in His Word. The Word is sufficient. God is linked with His Word. I am also linked with His Word. The sufficiency of the Word is the sufficiency of God; and that’s my sufficiency.

If Mary relied and acted on the Word given to her by the disposition of an angel and it produced a mighty work, resulting in the birth of our Saviour, how much more shall the eternal and a more sure Word given to us by the Holy Spirit in the “Written Word” excel in power and glory?

The Glory of the Word is the glory of the Saints! Today, become more devoted to the Word of God. The glory of God is the Word of God given to us, become everything we want to become in the Word of God.
