Titus 2: 11 – 12 [KJV]
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that,
denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly, in this present world;
Grace does not only save, it also teaches! A believer who is saved by grace should remain a student of grace. Grace is unlimited in its supply to teach, direct and guide. The transformation that has happened within (at salvation) will definitely give a corresponding manifestation without – to live in soberness, righteousness and godliness.
The gift of righteousness God imparted within will surely orchestrate a new way of living without. The old has become new; in conduct, words and thoughts. The new position a believer has in Christ will foster a perfect condition/interaction in life.
James 1: 21 [KJV]
Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
A believer will do well to submit himself to the Lordship of the Word and allow the same grace which saved him to also teach him as well. We should consistently learn to see what the Holy Spirit wants us to know and not what we choose to know. Full surrender to God and His word and the leading of the Spirit will lead you into triumphant victory daily.
DECLARATION
The grace of God has changed me and it continues to teach me. I am consistent in loving, serving and following Christ Jesus. I grow daily in my devotion to knowing him more and to be used by Him. Glory to God!
