Matthew 21:13 (KJV)
And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer …
The man in Christ is the temple, the house of God. God does not live in a house man with hands. He resides in the castle of our hearts. Our hearts have become the dwelling place of God. The Holy Spirit who indwells us is the Spirit of prayer, He produces constant fellowship in with Father.
Our body which is now the temple of God has become a house of prayer. The Holy Spirit impresses constant fellowship with God in our heart and uses our body to pray so as to effect the will of God on the earth. Our body has become a house of prayer.
Zechariah 12:10 (KJV)
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
The Spirit of Grace and Supplication produces the “SPIRIT OF PRAYER”. The Holy Ghost will cause you to pray. The Holy Spirit produces an outpouring and awakening of the spirit of prayer
When I say The Spirit of Prayer, I am not describing an angel or a Spirit whose name is prayer, I am talking about when The Holy Spirit brings an overwhelming influence of prayer on you! When that happens, you breathe prayer.
He is called The Spirit of grace and supplication because He produces prayer and fellowship in the believer.
Recognize and acknowledge that you body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and you have become a house of prayer. Today, let the Spirit of prayer engulf you as you channel your desires towards the things of God; in His word and prayer, Amen!
DECLARATION
I yield and give myself to prayer and ministry of the Word. I desire consistent fellowship with the Father and the Lord Jesus through the help of the Holy Spirit.
