I Am Fully Confident

Philippians 1: 6 [KJV]
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

“Being confident” – This is strong language. It means to be fully and firmly persuaded or convinced. It is the language of a man who had no doubt that God has started a good work in me and He will surely complete it. God would complete what He had begun. God’s grace is the beginning and the end.

The work of grace has been perfected, but there are many ongoing work of the Holy Ghost which will continue till the day of Jesus Christ, the day of his appearance, and we must always be confident God will perform his good work, in every soul wherein he has really begun it by regeneration, also through renewing of the mind and until glorification.

No reliance is to be placed upon man in keeping himself. Man is too weak; too changeable; too ready to be led astray; too much disposed to yield to temptation. His reliance therefore should be on Christ who will bring his glorious work into final fruition.

God abandons nothing that he undertakes. There are no unfinished worlds or systems; no half-made and forsaken works of His hands. There is no evidence in His works of creation of change of plan, or of having forsaken what He began from disgust, or disappointment, or lack of power to complete them.

God is able to do much more, above and beyond. He is able to keep from falling. He is able to save to the uttermost. The good work of salvation which he has begun will continue and He will see to it until that work in each of us is brought to fullness until the appearing of Jesus.

Philippians 2: 13 (KJV)
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

DECLARATION
