Psalm 107: 2 (KJV)
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
The redeemed of the Lord are the saved, justified, delivered and those made righteous in Christ Jesus. The death and resurrection of Christ Jesus brought us redemption. We were bought with a price, the precious blood of the lamb. The blood of Christ redeemed us from sin and the penalty of sin.
We are the redeemed of the Lord; we are washed , justified and sanctified through the obedience of Christ on the cross, in the grave and in His victory over death at resurrection.
No curse has the power over the child of God. Jesus was made a curse for us. The curse of sin, sickness, poverty and death has been broken. No family pattern, altar, spell or stronghold has power over the man in Christ.
Galatians 3 : 13 – 14 (NKJV)
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)
14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Christ hung on the tree, he became “The Cursed Man” for our sake. He became a sin offering, a representative of all the faults and shortcomings of mankind. All sins were absorbed in the body of Jesus, so we, the gentile nation, may partake in the blessing of Abraham by faith and the promise of the Holy Spirit.
What was irredeemable in Adam was redeemed in Christ Jesus. Jesus went to hell for me so I will not have a part in hell. Jesus was made a sin offering in my place so I can be made the righteousness of God.
Jesus became “You” at the cross so that you can be “Jesus” in front of the Father.
Now, we have a responsibility to acknowledge, share and declare God’s redemption for us in Christ Jesus.
Let the weak say, I am strong. Let the poor say, I am rich. Let the sinner say, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Let the sick say, I am the healed of the Lord. Let the cursed say, I am blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has saved you from your sin, guilt, condemnation, sin and sickness. Glory to God
