Owners Of Breakthrough

2 Samuel 5: 20 (KJV)
And David came to Baalperazim, and David smote them there, and said, The Lord hath broken forth upon mine enemies before me, as the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baalperazim.

We see this same statement in another scripture...

1 Chronicles 14:11 (KJV)
“So they came up to Baal-perazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore he called the name of that place Baal-perazim.”

The word Baal means “Lord,” and the word perazim means “breach” or “breakthrough.”

So Baal-perazim means “The Lord of the Breakthroughs.” That is exactly why David named the place where God broke through his enemies “Baal-perazim.”

God is a God of breakthrough. David called the place Baal-perazim because God gave him breakthrough right there. That very place was just a battle ground, but it became a place of breakthrough for David after God broke through for him.

The God of breakthrough has made us owners of breakthrough. Breakthrough belongs to every child of God. We are owners of breakthrough. My place is a place of breakthrough, just as God broke through for David, God has broken through for me.

God is my Baal-perazim, and Baal-perazim has risen for me today. This is my season of breakthroughs. Baal Perazim will lead me, causing me, my family, my marriage, my business, my children, my ministry to experience supernatural breakthrough — God is my Baal Perazim.’ Say it aloud with audacious faith.

Isaiah 28: 21 (KJV)
For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.

There are two powerful phrases in this verse: “strange work” and “strange act”. When God rises for your breakthrough; He rises to accomplish “strange work” and “strange act”.

Isaiah likens this to when God rose up as in mount Perazim. Mount Perazim means mount of breaches or breakthrough, It is the same as Baal-perazim where David gained a victory over the Philistines.

No wonder David never lost a battle; even when all seemed lost; He pursued, he overtook until he recovered all because the God of breakthrough was back of Him.

Today, I recognize God as my Jehovah Baal-perazim; my God, the Lord of my breakthroughs. He has made an owner of multiple breakthrough. There’s an overflow of breakthrough in my life, family and ministry.

The mark of the Righteous One is upon my life and I am at rest. I experience supernatural breakthrough as i acknowledge God in all of my dealings. I experience his “strange work” and “strange act” in my life.

We are owners of breakthrough because the Lord of breakthrough has risen for us, Halleluyah!

DECLARATION
I am an owner of multiple breakthroughs. Baal-perazim is rising for me today. God is accomplishing his “strange work” and “strange act” in my life. I am seeing and experiencing the selective goodness of the God of breakthrough over my life.
