John 14:27 (NIV)
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
God defines his children, God defines us by His Holy word, not by their earthly condition. The Word of God is a true representation of your identity. Your identity is not in the crisis you have undergone, your identity is in Christ.
Life is full of crises! No one is exempted from the crisis. No matter what we go through we should never define ourselves by the crisis we face. The presence of God is with us. The prince of peace is with us to calm every storm and turn moments of crisis to advantage for us.
John 16: 33 (KJV)
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Jesus didn’t promise a world without trial, persecution and tribulations; but we have a promise, greater than any world’s tribulation. It is the the peace of God and the joy of God in the middle of chaotic situation.
See God as your source of total supply and strength. God is my source of total supply, men are channels. Channels may change but my God does not change. Releasing your faith starts from recognizing God as your source.
Trust God to always come through for you. Since you are rest assured from God’s word that you know that God desires to have all your needs met, then stay on the word of God. Don’t allow unnecessary pressure overtake your mind.
Don’t journey into anxiety. Refuse to be perturbed by the prevailing circumstances and simply declare the promises of God over those needs, and before long all your needs will be exceeded even when you least expected.
Jesus rebuke the winds and the raging storm, He said “Peace Be Still”, and just like Jesus, stand and rise up to the challenge. The prince of peace is in you. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise a standard against them.
Rise up today! Use your boldness, and with everything by prayer and supplication, let your request be made known to God, and the peace of God that passes all understanding shall keep your heart and mind.
DECLARATION
I’ve peace like a calm river, and my joy knows no bound. I am limitless in my God’s given ability. The greater one lives on my inside. I am unperturbed by any situation. I am calm, cool and collected.
