Faith Is An Act!
James 1:22 (KJV)
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God; but it does not work by hearing only, it works when you act out what you have heard. The power of faith lies in action. Faith’s power is when you act out what it says.
The patriarchs believed what God said and they ACTED. The most powerful element of your faith is your ACTION. Your response validates your faith. Abraham OBEYED God! Noah BUILT an ark! Abel OFFERED unto God a more excellent sacrifice! Enoch PLEASED God! These heroes of faith believed God, but their faith did more than believing God. They acted!
You must act like the person you want you are in Christ and talk like the person God already made you in Christ. This is not fake it till you make it. This is Intentional Living. When you act like the person God already made you in Christ through his redemptive work; your mind will accept, agree and begin to function accordingly. Can two walk together except they agree? It is time to agree with every detail of the Word of God and act them out. It is time for bold and audacious actions.
Refuse to be knocked down by sickness, lack, anxieties or depression! Act your healing in Christ Jesus. Talk like the one the Lord has prospered and provided for. Take bold and giant steps forward. Move as if if things are working because it is definitely working. Take note of this! You’re as big as your faith and as small as your fears! This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith! Glory to God!
