Psalm 23: 6 (KJV)
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
Jesus told us, these signs shall follow them that believe, they will cast our demons and lay hands on the sick and they will recover. In other words, a believer in Christ Jesus is not meant to chase after signs and wonders; they ought to follow you. In the same vein, you shouldn’t be running up and down looking and begging God for his goodness and mercy; the goodness and the mercy of God are the inheritances of the child of God and they are meant to follow you all the days of your life.
Look at the birds of the air, they neither sow or reap, yet your heavenly father feeds them, if God has packaged a stress free life for animals of the forest and the birds of the air to survive and thrive, how much more you made in His image and likeness, are you not of more value than they?
Train your eyes to see God’s goodness is every thing, renew your mind to know and perceive God’s goodness in every situation. The goodness of God for yesterday is not meant for today, his mercy and goodness are new every morning.
Don’t have an attitude of seeing bad things in situations, refuse to complain or murmur about what you are going through; when you complain, you remain, but when you praise God, you’re raised up. I say this to myself always, the only thing that can happen to me are the good things of this life. So, today I train my eyes to see the goodness of God in everything!
DECLARATION
I see God’s goodness in every situation. My mind is renewed to perceive God’s goodness in all things. I have an attitude of joy and thanksgiving always. Glory to God!
