Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever!
One of the reasons for “faith failures” in God’s children in due to inconsistency in their faith walk. They stand on God’s word one day and fall off from it the next day. They can’t stay or hold on for long. They lack the power of consistency.
The Lord spoke to me years ago, “Your Power is in your consistency”. There’s no stopping in the Spirit life. You must be consistent in prayer, in the meditation of God’s word, in giving, in standing on the authority of God’s word and more. Once you put your hands in the plough, there’s no looking back.
Jesus is forever consistent; He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He doesn’t change his mind like humans do; he’s ever constant and reliable. We must imitate Jesus. He’s our model and example. We must must be consistent like Him in everything.
There’s an understanding of God and His ways you will never come to realize until you become consistent. An inconsistent person will never have such understanding; he’s always tossed to and fro. He’s a doubtful man, such a man can not receive anything from God (James 1: 7)
Today, make a decision to live a consistent life. Refuse to vacillate. Refuse to be inconsistent. The power lies in your consistency. Don’t quit, don’t stop, don’t go “off and on”. Continue today and forever. Glory to God!
