Philippians 3: 13 (NKJV)
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
When you have gained some momentum of success in your life, don’t slow down. If you take your legs off the accelerator, your car will slow down and it will slow down really fast. You can go from 120Km/h to 20km/h in 30secs if you if you stop accelerating. If you drive, you know what I am talking about. Speed is not automatic, speed is powered by the accelerator.
Your passion, your hunger, your will, your discipline, your consistency to do better than previous success is your accelerator
Beware of inertia, inertia sets in faster than momentum. Things slow down way faster than things speed up. If you look at markets, markets go up really slow, and and when markets go down, it goes down rewlly fast; so whatever success momentum you have, down slow down, don’t take your legs off the accelerator.
Forget what has been, begin to reach out for what God has planned ahead of you. The glory ahead is greater than the chanlleges behind. Don’t slow down, never quit. This one you must do always; reaching out for the things ahead. There’s glory, grace, provision, increase ahead. This is our portion. Glory to God!
