Give More, Not Less

Proverbs 11: 23 – 24 (TLB)
It is possible to give away and become richer! It is also possible to hold on too tightly and lose everything. Yes, the liberal man shall be rich! By watering others, he waters himself.

It is tempting to cut down on giving and hold back when finances get tight. It seems like the logical thing to do if you don’t have a job or you’re in down financially is to stop giving, but this is a trap of the devil. It is the devil’s trap to cut you away from the flow of God’s blessing.

As a child of God, always do the opposite of what the devil suggests. Always do the opposite of the voice talking to your senses. When the devil says “No”, you say “Yes”.

In this ministry, Whenever we face a financial challenge, I know it is time for me to raise our giving. The only way out of lack is through giving. Don’t fall for the enemy’s lies; don’t make decision by what you see or feel around; if you follow your senses or the present need, you will miss the bigger thing God is doing.

How do you solve a financial challenge or a debt problem? How do you come out of lack or receive supernatural provision? Start by giving to the Lord what you have. Sow the seed you have. Don’t call it little or nothing. Nothing is small in the hand of of a man of faith.

Right in the midst of nothing or little, start to see abundance and surplus, begin to see yourself in the midst of plenty and whatever the Lord ask you to do, do it.

You become richer by giving away what you have, you will be watered when you water others. This is the time not to hold back, this is the time to raise your standard of giving in the house of the Lord and for the furtherance of the gospel. Amen!
