The Ministry Of Grace

2 Corinthians 3: 7 – 8 (KJV)
7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, 8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?
6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

God calls “Ten Commandments” the ministry of death, as powerful as the experience Moses had, Paul called it “The Ministry of Death”.

If you want to be a minister of the old testament, you can’t have sufficiency there, there’s no unmerited favour, no provision, there is no charis, charisma and charismata; the ministers of the new covenant are the only recipients of God’s sufficiency

In the past, we have had great revivals, and those revivals have been characterised by preaching against sin. As a matter of fact, they were great revivals, but people were compelled to salvation out of fear of hell.

 2 Corinthians 3: 9 (KJV)
For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

If those ministries which had condemnation was glorious, the ministry of grace and righteousness will exceed more in glory. YOU AIN’T SEEN NOTHING YET, GOD IS RAISING MORE MINISTRIES AND MINISTERS OF GRACE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS. Gone are those days of the ministry of condemnation, God is raising a mighty ministry of grace.

When God gave the Torah to Moses on Mount Sinai, he came down and he met them worshipping the golden calf, and about 3000 souls died under as punishment for their sins.

Exodus 32:28 (KJV)
And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.

Under the law, 3000 souls died, but under grace when the Holy Spirit was poured out, 3000 souls were saved and added to the church. The same people who were hiding out fear and condemnation, came out boldly to preach the glorious Gospel of Jesus, the Holy Spirit is the spirit of Grace. Halleluyah!

Acts 4: 33 – 34 (KJV)
33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And GREAT GRACE was upon them all.
34 Nor was there anyone among them who lacked;

Wherever you find God’s Great GRACE in operation, there will be no poverty, need, lack or insufficiency.

2 Corinthians 9: 8 (KJV)
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Today, I encourage you to choose the ministry of grace. Grace is not a theology, it is not a new doctrine, it is not a new wave. Grace is a person, and that person is Jesus. Choosing the ministry of grace is submitting to the lordship of Jesus. Amen!
