1 John 2: 10 (NLT)
Anyone who loves a fellow believer is living in the light and does not cause others to stumble.
Whenever you find yourself stumbling into sin or becoming offended; one quick test to do is to check your “love life”. A man that walks in love is free from offense.
Satan will tempt and weigh the love of God in you, He will put you into several situations to get you off course; but you must be rooted and grounded in the love of God always.
Strife is one of the ways the enemy uses to get us off course from the purpose of God for our lives. Satan uses offense to steal the Word of God from our hearts. He causes us to become upset with each other, thereby bringing a stumbling block in our fellowship with the Father.
Offense never comes from God, it comes from Satan and the works of the flesh. The quickest route is to yield to the Holy Spirit and see the beauty and the love of God in every moment of offense.
Also, praying for the people you have issues with is a quick way to be offense free. Arguments will happen, misunderstanding will occur, but refuse to carry the pains of bitterness, start by praying for that person and you will walk through that situation without stumbling. Glory to God!
