Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
When you’re up against any challenge, when your back is held against the wall or when all of hell is let loose against you, it is not the time to start panicking and losing your control about the situation; it is time to pick up your sword, fight the good fight of faith and lay hold unto eternal life.
The devil is a disarmed, disgraced and defeated foe, but he still brags about as a wounded lion looking for whom he may threaten and devour. The Bible tells us what to do against him in 1 Peter 5:9 (KJV)—— Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
The situation you’re going through is not unique to you. You’re not the only one in this fight. The same challenge is being faced with by believers around the world. Your job is to resist him by standing firm in the faith.
This is the time to draw out your sword against the enemy. Your sword is the word of God in your heart and on your lips. Never recede or vacillate. The victory lies in the word of God living and active on the inside of you.
Wage your war against the devil. Get into the word of God now and start building your faith. Faith comes by hearing but it is released by speaking. Open your mouth and speak the truth in your heart. Don’t procrastinate! Start today! Victory is yours!
