Justified: Declared Not Guilty

One of the challenges with some believer is not sin itself, but sin consciousness. They are conscious of the sins they haven’t yet committed; they even ask God to forgive them in advance. They pray like this “O God search my heart: if there be any sin, father forgive me”. What a wrong mindset! When you understand “justification” as one of your rights and privileges in Christ Jesus, you will no longer pray such prayers.

1 Corinthians 6: 11 [KJV] But ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are JUSTIFIED in the name of the Lord.

Justified – It simply means to be declared “not guilty”. As far as God is concerned, I am not guilty of any offence. It is a sovereign declaration of the almighty God! God declares it; I accept it and I walk in the light of it. This is all that matters to me.

God is not going to punish me for any sin (past, present and future); all sins (past, present and future) have been punished in the body of Jesus. He was declared guilty for me to be declared “not guilty”.

Justification is not a testimony of a changed life; it is rather an ultimate exchange. His life is exchanged for mine and his beauty for my ashes. God will no longer impute or take record of sin on the believer anymore; all sins have been punished in the body of Christ.

2 Corinthians 5: 19 [KJV]
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Romans 5: 1 [KJV]
Therefore being JUSTIFIED by faith, we have PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The word “justified” is a legal term. It is used in the court of law to discharge an offender. All my offences have been removed, and I am discharged from them all. I am not guilty or conscious of any sin, I am free indeed. I am righteous in Christ Jesus. I am discharged and acquitted. Glory to God!

The war is over. We have entered into His rest. The justification we have in Christ has brought us peace, tranquility and harmony. There is rest and quietness now on both sides with perfect rapport. Glory to God!

DECLARATION
Justification is my redemptive right and privilege in Christ Jesus and I take full advantage of it; I do not give place to the devil. I use my authority as a believer and In triumph always!
