Use The Word Of God In Prayer

The word of God is a great weapon, it is called a sharp two edged sword. What makes prayer effective is the word of God, not the word committed to your memory only, but the word committed to the innermost being.

The word of God aids us in the place of prayer. God and His word are one. The best way to get God’s attention is to remind Him of His word.

Isaiah 55: 11[KJV] – So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Numbers 23: 19 [TLB] – God is not a man, that he should lie; He doesn’t change his mind like humans do. Has he ever promised, without doing what he said?

That’s why it’s very important to pray with the reality of the Word of God, pray with the promises of God that have been made available in the written word. God will deny His word. God backs up His word. God respects His word.

Ephesians 6: 17[KJV]
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

A sword is both an offensive and defensive weapon used by soldiers or warriors. In this case, the sword of the Spirit is a tool of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit uses the power of the Word in us and through us to pray the will of God, and what is the will of God, the will of God is the word of God. Knowing God’s word is knowing God’s will.

Colossians 3: 16 [KJV]
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Study God’s word, search the scriptures and look for the promises of God that address your situation, and with the promise of God. Use the weapon God has given you to triumph over the enemy.

DECLARATION
The word of God on my lips is my weapon. I fight the good fight of faith and I win. There’s no place for defeat. I am an overcomer in Christ Jesus. I subdue mountains and I level up valleys. Glory to God! (Please spend more time to pray in the Holy Ghost)
