Supernatural Christianity

1 Corinthians 2 : 5 (KJV)
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Paul in his letter to the believers at Corinth stretches the importance of their faith to be anchored in the supernatural power of God rather than in the wisdom of men. The believer in Christ Jesus operates by a different set of rules. We are powered by the very life of Christ himself, not human ideas or philosophy.

There’s nothing natural about the Christian life. There’s nothing natural about the death, burial and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. There’s nothing natural about the forgiveness of our sins. The very life we live now in the flesh is propelled by the power of God.  We are not ordinary. We are supernatural Christians.

The foundation of our faith is the power of God. The Gospel of Christ is the power of God u to salivation, healing and prosperity. Reject and renounce everything that declines or trivializes the move of the power of God in your life.

If you take the supernatural out Christianity, what you have left is nothing. What makes Christianity what it is, is the SUPERNATURAL POWER of God. The power at work in Christ is the name power at work in the believer.

Where does your faith stand? In the doctor’s report? In the diagnosis? In your bank account’s balance, investments, your nation’s economic or military strength? None of these can save, man’s wisdom is limited, only God’s power is to be relied on.

Get used to the supernatural power of God, practice depending on God’s power always. The things of Spirit gets better with practice.

Paul’s exhortation for the saints at Corinth is also meant for us today. What is good for the early church Christians is good enough for us too. We are not mere men, we are supernatural Christians. Be conscious of this always. Hallelujah!
